Introduction

Octopus Analog UV sensor (GUVA-S12SD) is the UV electric brick in our Octopus series, the basic design is from the Octopus electric bricks and the setting of its outlook, the PCB fixing hole and the connectors are the same.

It can measure the total UV intensity of the sunlight; linear signal voltage output; and it can be used as UV dosimeters, UV index instrument and flame detection,etc,.

Quick to Start

Hardware Connection

Connect the module with the wire(with buckle) to the P1 pins on the IOT:bit, insert the micro:bit to the IOT:bit.

Software Programming

Programme in the makecode and analog read P1 to get the intensity of the UV that would be displayed on the micro:bit.
